Denis Li, President, opened the evening by reflecting on WellCare's strong growth in 2025, with business volume doubling from the end of 2024 while maintaining profitable performance across major carriers. He credited the success to the professionalism and dedication of WellCare's brokers and partners.
He also addressed a three-month audit by Intact reviewing rapidly growing brokerages. WellCare successfully completed the process and resumed writing on schedule, becoming the only audited brokerage to restart within the expected timeline.
Looking ahead, Denis highlighted a new submission system designed to verify documents and flag issues early, while reaffirming WellCare's commitment to keeping administrative work at head office so brokers can focus on clients and growth.

This year's banquet was attended by Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, who recognized WellCare's growth and the importance of strong local businesses.
